How many lynchings did this lead to?

I cannot believe the words chosen by Karl Rove and the rest of the John McCain publicity staff. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?? Oh yeah, maybe something along the lines of, "It worked for our granddaddies, so let's try to say that black boy is being disrespectful to our women. That will get that boy lynched....I mean....defeated come election day." I just hope that someone, somewhere in the Obama campaign comes out with all the force that is Hurricane Ike on this one. Open note to Mrs. Palin--I don't think I have ever, in the history of presidential campaigns, heard any candidate complain over and over again about being disrespected. You are a disgrace to women everywhere. WE are stronger than that.
