The Week in Photos

 Before every home game for the women's basketball team, we walk to the arena.  Because it's tradition, and superstition, we walk a certain route--we start at Linda's house, walk down the driveway, and so on.  What can I say?  The team has won more games than it's lost, thanks to us!

 Tuesday was the State of the Union speech, given by President Obama.  I decided if I had to look at John Boehner all evening, I would need a beer.

We've had construction going on on our street for close to 4 months.  We thought they were mostly finished, but Wednesday, they were back....I really can't complain, because now we have a good sidewalk.

This has been a mild winter, so I won't complain too much.  But with the on-going construction, our street is a little more colorful than it normally is.

Friday night, we went to Happy Hour with some friends.  One friend does magic, and told Karen to hold his pants--he would show her a trick.  Uh huh.

I call this one, "Trader Joe's, bitches!"  We do not have a Trader Joe's in town, so when we are near one, we stock up!

One day, I almost forgot to take a photo, so I decided to multi-task!

This one I call, "I effing hate winter!"  It's the floor of our parking garage......

I have to get allergy shots on a regular basis.  I get 3 shots at a time, and they really help me.  So, I call this one, "Looks deadly, but keeps me alive."

I have a tight budget, so this one could be named, "Good sign halfway through the month!"

This is a street in the village--definitely a weeknight!

The sunsets have been amazing this winter!  I don't think I was able to capture the color of this one--pink, purple, orange, and blue!

After a hard week of work, there's nothing as satisfying as hanging with your homies on a Friday night!

This one is called "Hell on Earth".  I really, really hate the mall, and I tried to take as much color out of the photo that I could.
