These are in no particular order, and some have already been posted here. Maybe I can think of something fresh to say about them!
I get allergy shots every 3 weeks or so. I've been getting them since I was 4 years old; I'm one of the few who are "lifers" in the allergy shot world--most people who get them only have to do it for a certain period of time, and then they feel better and can stop.
I like this photo because it's sort of a "behind the scenes" look at my life.
Is it just me, or have we had some spectacular sunsets in the past year? The colors in the sky this evening made it a great photo.

Saying good-bye to the Christmas decorations for another year on January 2nd. I chose this one because it looks like the Nutcracker is doing a chin-up to pose for the photo!
Love my fellow women's basketball fanatics. We have a certain walking route that we superstitiously follow before every home game. On this night, these goobers were skipping.
Bored, and playing with my Christmas toys on laundry day leads to a favorite photo like this.
Fall--and these leaves fell.
I had already taken my photo for the day, but saw these leaves on the road, and loved the accidental composition.
Every year, our potter friends invite us for a day of Raku. I take photos all day--of the process, of the people, of the finished product. Late in the day, the photos become more and more spectacular.

Occasionally, our weekend begins with a drink with friends. If I am very, very lucky, it begins with a Guinness at Nine Irish Brothers--they pour the perfect pint.
Of course, the perfect pint of Guinness is nothing without friends...
Karen was given the PERFECT sign for our front door: "The BITCH is IN". We proudly hung it as soon as it was unwrapped. Thanks, Suzanne!

One late autumn day, we took a hike along the river. We found some milkweed pods, and well....
We had a nice Thanksgiving dinner, but had a BLAST at the firehouse after dinner! Thanks, Diana!

Every year, we hang Erika's "disco ball" ornament on the Christmas tree so that the sun shines on it, and provides lots of "sun sprites" for the cats to chase. Finally this year, I got a photo of the phenomenon.
In the lead-up to every Election Day, I wear my shirts that encourage voter participation. This is one of them.
We will never see this sign again.

Every year, we have Cookie Weekend. This is the first year Sophie and Isabel did some major cooking, and the first time I got an awesome photo of their great-gran with them.

I've always been intrigued by the light coming through the bathroom window, and finally remembered to capture it in a photo.
Cat bliss. One friend suggested this should be our Christmas card next year. Maybe I should finally send some out.
We finally got our snow blower working, so was finally able to take it out for a run. The snow was incredibly wet, so the blower wasn't much use.

I didn't want to go to this meeting on a Sunday afternoon, but I'm glad I took my camera. Interesting view through my lens, and the meeting ended up being pretty interesting too.
Karen, Linda, and I played hooky one day, and drove around, looking for interesting stuff. This was the most interesting I found, and I didn't have my camera with me! This photo was taken with my phone, and I had to actually go up on some strange porch. Worth it though. Mary's "halo" is a candy dish!
I took a lot of photos through my car windshield; this morning the frost was fun.
Some photos are accidentally cool; I was taking a photo of the fog, and when I looked at the final shot, I realized I caught the lights from the living room too. Gives it an alien feel.

My friend Dagmar died nearly two years ago. She loved the magnolia tree in her front yard. This year, it was gorgeous.
We had a drought later in the summer, but the flowers of the spring were spectacular!

My friend Sam plays basketball for the college team. I am one of her biggest fans, and probably the biggest dork she knows. Here is proof.

Karen got Chicken Pox. We read this article on the internet, and found out she got them.....from me. I had shingles.
I tried so many times to get a good photo of a hummingbird. Success!
On the 4th of July, it was so hot, the moon melted....
All the local haters who showed up to "support" Chick-fulla-hate, in their stand against marriage equality. Taking this photo almost made me cry, and certainly sickened me.
The naked ladies only bloom for a few days. I was lucky enough to get a photo.
Dropping Karen off at the airport. Sigh....
I just happened to have my camera with me one night. I came out of a store, and spotted this beautiful sky shot. I quickly drove out of the parking lot, and spent several anxious moments before finding a place to capture it in a photo.
On September 11th, it seemed appropriate to take a photo in the cemetery.
When the drought broke, we got this late bloomer. In October!
The morning after the Garden Party. That pit got a lot of hot action the night before.
