Sigh....they've succeeded. The lobbyists, funded by the health care industry, have riled a few folks, and they have riled a few folks, and it's worked. More people are actually sympathetic with the screamers at Town Hall meetings than are discrediting them.

More people are believing the scary rumors than are actually sitting down, doing some reading, and figuring the truth out themselves. Sarah Palin is continuing with her "Death Panel" talk, and it appears the president and members of Congress who actually think we DO need Health Care Reform have been caught flat-footed. And the "I'm in it for me and my family and that's it" members of society are missing the forest for the bark on the tree. Meanwhile, health care costs continue to skyrocket, and insurance companies are making a tidy profit. But hey, if you have insurance, and your family is OK today, that's all that matters, huh?
Does anyone else wonder why health care costs triple or quadruple every year, when inflation is at 3-4% at the very most? WHO is pocketing the money? Someone has to be--who is it?
But heaven forbid we add another socialist program in this country; after all, Medicare has been such a failure for the elderly.
